- Bellyup Bellydance is concerned with the welfare and well being of dancers and suggests that all dancers and students alike should be aware of their body and health at all times. Bellydance can at times be a strenuous exercise although one we fine immensely enjoyable.
- Simple precautions can save your spine and joints and increase your enjoyment of this wonderful art form. Please remember always warm up your body before getting started, tuck your pelvis under in basic dance position (this protects your lower spine), stretch and warm down after dancing and most importantly, if it hurts STOP!
